Full Moon

Last few nights have been fairly clear and I'm sure most of you have noticed the full moon that has been rising just about the same time the sun has been setting.  The full moon in June is known as the Strawberry Moon and each month has its own unique full moon name. Since the short season of harvesting strawberries is in June, naming the full moon in June Strawberry Moon seemed to fit pretty well. The Farmers Almanac does a great job of covering all the different moons so here the list of each month and its moons name.


Full Wolf Moon – January
Full Snow Moon – February
Full Worm Moon – March
Full Pink Moon – April
Full Flower Moon – May
Full Strawberry Moon – June
Full Buck Moon – July
Full Sturgeon Moon – August
Full Corn Moon – September
Full Harvest Moon – October
Full Beaver Moon – November
The Full Cold Moon; or the Full Long Nights Moon – December
